Ramaer invests in a Multiline XRT 7000 X-ray drilling machine |
|
To make another step forward in quality improvement Ramaer has decided to invest in a new X-ray drilling machine. This machine will be used to drill the reference holes in the panels after they are being pressed.

| The machine is the newest type from Multiline and has two X-ray cameras and two drilling heads. The panels are loaded from the front into the machine where they will be perfectly aligned with the help of the X-ray cameras and the software. Then the reference holes are drilled in the panel which will be later used to stack the panels for drilling. After drilling the reference holes the panel leaves the machine at the backside. The panel is manually loaded into the machine but there is an option to rebuild the machine at a later time to a fully automatic one. | The advantages of the new machine are: - Better aligning of the panels. - Increased output. - Better vision from the X-ray camera’s. - Better software to make analysis from the measuring results, which we can use in the front-end to compensate the innerlayers. Delivery of the machine is planned at the end of November after the machine has been exposed at the Productronica trade fair in Munich.
